In March 2010, OCT organised the first visit by its members to ascertain the plight of Shi’as living in deteriorating conditions and assess their needs in different fields.
In Kenya the cost of basic necessities has drastically increased coupled with the shortage of food that has greatly affected the people who reside in the rural villages.
Alhamdullilah, as we come to the end of the Holy Month of Ramadhan the Mission has managed to bring smiles on the faces of the people in the rural areas who have been facing great difficulties that arose due to droughts in many parts of Kenya.
With the grace of Almighty Allah (swt), and generous support from donors, once again DAR-UL-MUSLIMEEN CHARITY LANTERN was blessed with the opportunity to hold the below mentioned programs in this month of Ramadhan 1432 A.H. (2011 A.D)
